In May 2010, The Dinner Project, in Flower Mound, Texas, was founded by four friends - Cathreena Kang, Dana Neal, Michelle Gonyeau and Stephanie Coons. Each had a passion and commitment towards charitable giving and wanted to pool their resources to make a bigger difference in the community and the world.
